Akira Shimizu
Project Manager
A trained architect with a strong background in design and investment, Akira acts as project manager for Pembroke's Tokyo projects.

Akira Shimizu is a project manager at Pembroke, responsible for both Pembroke and Fidelity development projects throughout Asia, as well as for supporting marketing and product research.

Prior to joining Pembroke, Akira worked for a U.S.-based real estate investment company on acquisitions, dispositions and risk management responsibilities. His role covered sourcing, investment analysis, due diligence and transaction closings on wide variety of asset types.

Akira has also worked for a local Tokyo developer where his role extended to various functions — including development, internal design, construction monitoring, investor reporting, property management and tenant leasing. Akira is fluent in both English and Japanese.
