London E14
London Millharbour will be a new mixed-use development located in the Millennium Quarter, just south of Canary Wharf in the Docklands of East London. The 3-building complex is designed to include 753,000 sf / 70,000 sqm of office space and 28,000 sf of ground floor retail space. Acquired in 1999, Pembroke has received planning consent for this development.
Pembroke envisions London Millharbour as the catalyst for regeneration of a largely undervalued area of London — the Millennium Quarter, a business district that includes 50 acres of land immediately south of Canary Wharf. Consistent with our philosophy, Pembroke’s vision for this site extends beyond the project itself and into the surrounding area.
Designed by renowned U.K. architects Hopkins & Partners, London Millharbour’s main building will establish a retail presence along the Millennium Quarter’s main pedestrian street and provide a visual link to pedestrians coming from the Underground and Docklands Light Rail. The elegant, glass-clad building will provide office space on the upper floors and will support retail uses to bring life to the street level. As a landmark development in an emerging market, London Millharbour’s modern, elegant and highly visible buildings will set an example for the kind of quality development the area hopes to attract.
