As
director of marketing, Susan is responsible for branding and marketing efforts for
Pembroke Real Estate, as well as for each of the firm’s properties worldwide.
Specifically, she develops, implements and oversees strategic marketing plans that
include public relations campaigns, collateral development and creative solutions to
help market the firm and its portfolio.
Prior to joining Pembroke in 2006,
Susan was a marketing manager for Steffian Bradley Architects in Boston, responsible
for business development and marketing communications for the multi-office architectural
and planning firm. Previously, she worked in various marketing and PR roles in Boston and
New York for The Stubbins Associates, Inc., HLW International and Ludgate Communications.
Susan also has experience as a marketing consultant, Web site editor, and freelance artist
and graphic designer.
Susan received a bachelor of arts in art history from Syracuse
University. She is a member of the steering committee for the Women in Design Network, a member
of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), New England Women in Real Estate, and
the Urban Land Institute, and an affiliate member of the Boston Society of Architects.
Susan was editor and graphic designer for the book
The Creative Process, a Continuum, , 2003; editor and project manager for the book
Leadership for Change: in the Workplace, Community, and in Design,
, 2004; and co-author of a white paper entitled “Boston: A Model For Fostering
Transit-Oriented Development In Dense, Older Cities.” She has also earned several graphic
design and marketing communications awards. |
